Clare's love for wildlife began when she started volunteering in a small QLD Wildlife Park at just 12 years of age.

Working with aussie natives of all species, Clare's love for wildlife grew and upon completing highschool she chose to study a BAppSc with a double major in wildlife science. In her final year of study Clare travelled to South Australia to volunteer at the Wombat Awareness Organisation and her infatuation with wombats began!

Upon completing her degree Clare moved to South Australia to volunteer at the Wombat Awareness Organisation where she volunteers 24 / 7 mentored by Brigitte Stevens in all things wombat and is also conducting her honours study studying the ecosystems of wombat warrens.
