Roz
Holme operates Cedar Creek Wombat Rescue in the Central Coast
of New South Wales with her husband Kev. Roz has always loved
wildlife starting from a young age when here parants were wildlife
carers and her play pen was in a roo pen!
When
Roz had a son she gave up wildlife caring for a short time but
ended up back with roos as she just couldn't stay away. When
Roz met her husband, Big Kev, she found a soulmate - he also
loved the wildlife but was more into the wombats!
So
together Roz and Kev decided to buy a bigger property at Cedar
Creek just for wildlife. The property has been made into a Wildlife
Refuge and it has been a release site for all kinds of native
critters, including kangaroos, wombats, wallabies, eagles, parrots,
lizards and so many more!
Roz
and Kev are lucky to have close friend and veterinarian, Robin
Crisman, who consults on all the medical needs of their wildlife
charges.
Roz
is now studying Certificate 4 in Vet Nursing which will greatly
assist her passion and dedication to Australian native animals.
