Sophie Mayhew is a student, soon to enter senior high.

Sophie has hung around Australian wildlife a lot mainly seeing it in her backyard, going to wildlife parks and zoos, and knowing people who are involved in wildlife care.

Sophie lives in an area where there is a lot of wildlife - like sometimes there are echidnas in the garden!

Work experience at Taronga Zoo in the Australian Mammals division was definitely a notable experience for Sophie. Her favourite Australian critters are echidnas and tree kangaroos - but she loves all of them really.
