Comments: Can't seem to find the site to report a mange infestation in a Wombat rescued at Mowbray Tasmania. It recently had come into possession a Joey infested with mange and ticks. The mother had a broken back and was Euthanised. She has been treated and so far appears to be ok. The concern is how many others have the mange around this area? Can you please forward to the appropriate organisation? Many thanks, A devoted Carer

Comments: This morning I watched a show on animal planet about wombats, They are the most adorable animals ive ever seen and they are very interexting. The way they dig those huge burrows is so cool. It is amazing that people can get together to save these creatures. Good hearted people. I love your site.

Admin reply: Hi Joe.
Where abouts exactly are you seeing the wombats? I think that if you're seeing them in Qld then it would be DERM that you need to contact. BUT the only wombats in Qld are in the central and south/west. Can you contact me privately?
cheers Linda
