Here
is what wombat burrows looks like.
It's more than likely that all three burrows (there is another burrow hidden behind
the grassed mound at the left of the picture) are linked underground.
Wombats
are solitary creatures and although they do "share" burrows they rarely
co-inhabite one burrow at one time.
Most
wombats have numerous burrows which they take turns to live in. |
