Australian Wildlife Rehabilitation Conferences

The Australian Wildlife Rehabilitation Conferences are an essential guide to all Australian wildlife rehabilitators.

There is an absolute wealth of information on the proper care of native animals from each of the conferences that have been presented around Australia.

Below are links to each wildlife conference, where you can freely download quality resources written by experienced wildlife rehabilitators, veterinarians, vet nurses, zoo keepers, scientists and more.

Some of my favourite papers (for different reasons) are listed underneath each conference to give you an indication on what you will find on the AWRC website.  Some are essential learnings for wildlife rehabbers, others (that may not be information that all rehabilitators will use) are utterly fascinating.

Please note that the downloads below are not located on the FCW website, when you click on the links you will be directed to the AWRC website/download.  File size is noted as a curtesy.

If you can, I urge you to attend these conferences.  It is a chance to not only learn more about our wildlife and their proper care, but to network with wildlife rehabilitators from around the nation.
