Southern Hairy-nosed Wombat Husbandry Manual
by Donna Treby

The  Southern Hairy-nosed Husbandry Manual is by Donna Treby who lives in the Currumbin area in Queensland.

Donna, who is actively involved in the recovery project for the Northern Hairy-nosed Wombats, wrote this manual as part of her research into the Northern Hairy-nosed Wombats, using southerns as an analogue species for the day when the northerns are brought into captivity.

This is a great guide that covers many areas of handling wombats in captivity.

Subjects include housing and feeding requirements, handling and transport, health requirements, behavoiur and more.
